This package contains 2 programs, both being derived from programs in my
Control Panel package.

Arfir is a GUI front end for Archie. It allows you to sepcify the options
using a simple interface and then download or view the files by just
clicking on the filename in a listview gadget. To use this program you need
an archie client and ftpget, both of which are available on Aminet.

Newsed3 is a powerful GUI newsgroup editor, amongst its many feature are

- add new newsgroups
- selectively import groups from a large newsgroup file such as your
  newsservers active group list.
- displays a small description about each groups
- allows unique signature for each newsgroup when used with Grn

This package also contains replacement postnews scripts, so that Grn can
post news correctly, and use the unique signature features.
