Long, long ago, in  the 1970s  of the 20th  century, in a
distant galaxy rich  in hard  coal resources,  a barbaric
civilisation known as ATARI came into being.

They ravaged everything  around them while simultaneously
developing  their  own  technologies.  In  the  meantime,
another civilisation emerged - COMMODORE. 

Far more advanced, though not as rich in human resources.

Dear Player!  You  were  born in 1985.  You belong  to an
elite special unit known as AMIGA,  part of the COMMODORE
civilisation.  Your callsign  is A500.  You  are  given a
state-of-the-art  spacecraft   equipped  with  electronic
systems ATARI could only ever dream of.  Your mission  is
to set  course  for  the galaxy   that  houses  the  main
stronghold  of  the  Atari   forces  and  wipe  them  out
completely.  We wish you  the very  best of luck  on this
cosmic mission.
