Image Engineer script - Shutdown v1.03



SHORT DESCRIPTION

  This script is used to take a snapshot from your current work in
  progress. Window positions, offsets, zooms.. they are kept and
  saved with the image and can be restored by executing another
  script.


REQUIREMENTS

  Image Engineer v3.41 (Wision release 2)


INSTALLATION

  Archive where this file came from must be extracted to a
  directory where you installed Image Engineer.

  These scripts must be in IE:Arexx/


USAGE

  You can run Shutdown.rexx and Restore.rexx manually or you can set
  them to run every time you start or quit Image Engineer. Here's
  how to set them work automatically:


  Open General Preferences from Project/Prefs/General.

  Where it says Execute Arexx Script, set

   At Startup : IE:ARexx/Restore.rexx
   At Exit    : IE:ARexx/Shutdown.rexx



  Make sure you have enough free space in volume you select to use
  as temporary save space. No checking is made do files fit. PNG
  format makes smaller files than TIFF format. Use either one. If
  you select to Quit only, then no files are saved and so can not be
  restored. When restoring, possible temporary files will be
  deleted. Requester will pop up, if you try to shutdown and
  there's earlier shutdown saving still on disk.

  Bug in Restore.rexx prevented it to work in some cases. Fixed.
