This  is  a  chmod  command that works like the chmod command in UNIX, but
adapted  to  AmigaDos. Unlike the chmod in Aminet:disk/misc/chmod.lha this
chmod  command  actually  resembles  UNIX chmod with both a symbolic and a
numeric mode + this one is pure and can be made resident.

This  command  renders Aminet:disk/misc/chmod.lha useless (which I feal it
already  was before anyway because: it's not at all compatible to the UNIX
command it's supposed to mimic, it's very big, and it's *not* pure).

This  command  supports  MultiUser,  but works fine without it too. If you
have   MultiUser   installed   maybe  you  should  also  take  a  look  at
Aminet:util/misc/zznyydmufs.lha.

To  install  simply  copy  chmod  to  C: and if the pure bit isn't set you
should set it.
