Fredrik: It seems that something went wrong when Kai uploaded this archive
in May 98. Well .. here's another try!
This is yet another FileID-extractor for fileinformation (file_id.diz) as
found in AmiNet-files, BBS-systems, etc. What makes it different from
other FileID-extractors is :
- Supports MPEG audio files
- Can be used to extract single files
- Can operate in Aminet-mode, i.e. look out for readme files
- Recursion into subdirectories
- Huge graphical user interface (useable w/o GUI as well)
- Extracts faster than other programs
- Multidirectory support
- Different ways of sorting
- No external programs (except LHa,Unzip,Lzx,cfx) required
- 1000s of options
- The program is continuously updated and will be expanded even
further
Supported filetypes are: Aminet-.readme-files Exe, Dms, Txt, Lha/Lzh, Lzx,
Zip, MPEG-audio files all other files are examined via cfx (Crunched File
Examiner by Bob Rye), if present.
Remeber that FiDED is EMail-Ware, which means that you have to send me an
E-Mail or Snailmail if you use the program regularly. I'll then keep you
informed about future releases and updates if you want to.

V39.516 (12.03.1998) Homepage-bugfix update
